We did it!  We survived the first day!  Actually, we not only survived our first day but it was a great success!!!  I am looking forward to this school year!  The first two days are basically getting organized and acclimated.  Then, we have the weekend to rest up from the hard work of getting back into a routine!  I am so impressed with my sweet class!  My hope and prayer is that your child wants to come to school and comes home excited and feeling like a “happy camper” every day.

*Continue a writing activity with a school bus your child drew.  (They are adorable)!

*Work on sentence writing.

*Grammar review

Reading- 

*Practice summarizing skills

*Review character, setting, plot using a story map

Social Studies-

*Where in the World am I? (Learning about our community)
