My husband (Dean), daughter (Anna), and I love camping, traveling, exploring, geogaching, kayaking, and anything lake related (tubing, boating, WaveRunner). However, we also, like spending time at home reading, playing games, or watching TV.  Oh, and of course, we can’t forget…SHOPPING!  Something we love doing together is junkin’ and looking for old or interesting things.   Anna keeps her parents hopping with church activities and friend activities.  She is quite the social butterfly and we wouldn’t have it any other way….well, sometimes I could enjoy more time at home! 😉

I am blessed with the best family and friends and love spending time with them.  One little stinker that we all love is our miniature dachschund (wiener dog), Sadie.  Sadie doesn’t know she is a dog.  She thinks she is human and trust me, she is rotten!  Sadie lets us live with her in an old house that we have (and are still) restoring.  Fun Fact:  Our house was built in 1910.

One interesting fact is….believe it or not….I love decorating my classroom!  I want it to be a place where my students  feel loved and secure and they want to come.  I love teaching at White Oak Intermediate School.  I am starting my 19th year of teaching (2nd year at WO).  It’s going to be a SUPER year!
