Reading-3.6  Students understand, make inferences and draw conclusions about the structure and elements of poetry and provide evidence from text to support their understanding.  A-describe the characteristics of various forms of poetry and how they create imagery (e.g., narrative poetry, lyrical poetry, humorous poetry, free verse)  Fig. 19 D, E

3.10 Students understand make inferences and draw conclusions about how an author’s sensory language creates imagery and literary texts and provide evidence from text to support their understanding A identify language that creates a graphic visual experience and appeals to the senses. New Spelling Words were sent home yesterday.  Spelling test will be next Thursday (11/16).  Students need to practice on Spelling City.

Vocabulary Test this Thursday (11/9).  Students can go to Quizlet.
