We just might have a full week of school.  With the flu, holidays, and snow days, it’s been a crazy few weeks!  This week, the students were given new spelling words and a reading passage for homework.  The reading homework is due by Friday.  The spelling test will be on Feb. 1st.  We changed the spelling up this semester.  They will have words and dictation sentences.

ELA:  *Review:  Helping Verbs, Be Verbs and Simple/Compound Sentences

*3.17ABCDE Writing process (focus on writing complete and compound sentences.

Social Studies:  See Teacher’s Manual for Weeks 9/10 & Introduce Thomas Jefferson’s quote
